NEBELUNG are a young band from Germany, their music flows from the whispers of nature till the gentleness of Creation. They showed us, how powerful it can be when you're use the term "less is more" correctly. "Vigil" is the first fulltimealbum of the band, after the EP "mistelteinn". They're singing in german and Stefan Ottos voice is full of sadness but powerful in the end of all. There's no consolation, only solitude and melancholy. "Sturm" stands on the top of all, it's truly stormy. All the lyrics are inspired by the spirit from the turn of the century, three of them are by the famous german writers Gertrud Kolmar, Georg Trakl and Stefan George. This pure acoustic music is dominated by the guitars but you will find also an bass, an violine and an accordion in it. The songs are like a dark call from the woods. Listen to them on quite places in moments of melancholy. Then maybe you will remember FORSETI, EMPYRIUM or ULVER but there's never the bitter taste of missing authenticity on "Vigil".
