Known for a string of well-received singles and EPs at the outset of their career, Cause Co-Motion! was a brash, punk-pop outfit that took the D.I.Y. ethic to a very high energy place. Their first release, the single "Which Way Is Up," came about in 2006, and was soon followed by the Angular Recording Corporation release, the Who's Gonna Care? EP in 2008. September of that same year would see the Cause Co-Motion! release the single "I Lie Awake." With their singles selling well online -- in some cases selling out -- it was high time that Slumberland came along and decided to package a full-length collection of the band's work on disc. Entitled It's Time!, the 14-song retrospective (of a career lasting about two years) was released in 2008 as well.
