Forming from the ashes of Sans Chevelle and The Reason, Sailmaker are a four piece Indie/Pop band from the suburbs of Sydney.
Since forming in mid 2007 they have played along side such bands as Cuthbert and the Night Walkers, Operator Please, British India, Grand Fatal and Horsell Common.
Over the last few months the Sailmaker boys have been sharing their time between their home studio and Production Avenue studios in Sydney with producer Lachlan Mitchell, putting the finishing touches on their debut EP "Build A Fire" due out 09/08/08.
Along with this, the Sailmaker track 'Love a Lie' has recently been featured on the Triple J unearthed website and on JTV's 'Unearthed TV' on ABC2.
