“EIGENART”可亦說(shuō)裁上是能代表整個(gè)德國(guó)，并受到國(guó)際追捧的一隊(duì)專(zhuān)門(mén)把玩Downbeat、Ambient、Lounge、Chill Out的電子音樂(lè)組合。組合由兩位來(lái)自德國(guó)西部城市蓋爾森基興，原本有著不同生活背景，卻同樣擁有極高音樂(lè)天份，并對(duì)電子音樂(lè)產(chǎn)生興趣的音樂(lè)人Claus Pieper和Werner Balzuweit組成。它們的作品經(jīng)常被收錄于全毬眾多知名的沙發(fā)、電子音樂(lè)系列專(zhuān)輯當(dāng)中。當(dāng)中就包括有Ibiza Chill Out、Purobeach、Luxury Lounge、Electronic Lounge、Bedroom Escapades、Estudio Del Mar、Buddha Grooves、Absynth、Bar Beats等。因此，它們也被喻為沙發(fā)、電子音樂(lè)界最重要的藝人之一。 它們?cè)?6年發(fā)行的專(zhuān)輯《Cityhopper》，亦及后來(lái)在07年推出的專(zhuān)輯《Malia》，都展現(xiàn)了它們?cè)陔娮右魳?lè)創(chuàng)作，尤其是electronic deep moods music（Downtempo）沙發(fā)音樂(lè)創(chuàng)作方面的偉大才能。這兩張專(zhuān)輯為它們?cè)昧瞬簧倜u(yù)和尊重。而它們富有美感的新作也將在它們09年底或10年初推出的組合第三張專(zhuān)輯《Artefakt》中，繼續(xù)給樂(lè)迷留下深刻的印象。
The talented musicians Claus Pieper and Werner Balzuweit from Gelsenkirchen are one of the most popular international downbeat, ambient, lounge, chill out and electronic music producers from whole Germany. Their productions for worldwide well-known ambient and electronic music projects like Ibiza Chillout, Electronic Lounge, Estudio del Mar, Buddha Grooves, Absynth, Bar Beats and many more made Eigenart one of the most important artists of ambient music.
Their albums Cityhopper (2006) and Malia (2007) gained them fame and respect within the chill-out and electronic music scene and shows their great talent in composing electronic deep moods music.
Their artistic work will continue to impress in the future with their third album being released in 2009.
Eigenart are Claus Pieper and Heinz-Werner Balzuweit. Both of them have their roots in electronic music.However, they have different backgrounds and this leaves its mark on their project EIGENART.
Claus Pieper and Werner Balzuweit produce electronic music, for the first time in the second half of the 80s, starting off with little equipment, basically using an Roland SH101 and Roland TB 303 and a drum computer, but both of them didn’t have the knowledge to use these fine Instruments.
