Eric Dill?(born February 10, 1981 in?Indianapolis, Indiana,?United States) is an independent artist, and the original lead singer ofThe Click Five.?Along with?Chris Daughtry,?Chad Kroeger?from the band?Nickelback, and Danish songwriter/producer?Rune Westberg, Eric Dill wrote the song?No Surprise, the first single on?Daughtry's forthcoming album, "Leave This Town."??Chris Daughtry performed the song live for the first time on?American Idol?on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. According to one published report, "A Grammy nomination next year [for "No Surprise"] would not be a surprise."
