NZM formed in 2010 after Nick Z Marino released his first solo album Freedom Has No Price for Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force Records. Nick Z Marino is also a lead singer and keyboardist for Yngwie Malmsteen. Drummer Ellis joined NZM in July 2013 and also played South American tour with Yngwie in November 2013.
Lead guitarist Ghee-yeh joined NZM in July 2013. Bassist Jason Moshen joined the band in May of 2014.
NZM was working hard in 2013 and made a new album Eternal Fire, composed and produced by Nick Z Marino and Ghee-yeh. The album was recorded in NZM studios in Florida and mixed by legendary Keith Rose.
After several shows in South Florida, NZM is preparing for upcoming summer tour around USA and Europe.

Nick Z Marino - lead vocals and keyboards
Nick Z Marino (aka Nick Zeljko Marinovich) was born in Negotin, Serbia - former Yugoslavia. At the early age of 7, Nick 's musical training began as he received classical vocal and piano training. His musical ability continued and grew throughout his adolescence as he traveled and performed throughout Europe and Asia.
After several albums in former Yugoslavia, Nick arrived in the USA in 1995 and settled in Florida.
In 1999, Nick was featured with 2 songs on a compilation album &Alternative Rock Attitude&.
In 2000, Nick released his solo single CD *Immigrant Song (remake of Led Zeppelin's song).
After performing and recording with KC and the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor and The Tramps, among many other recognized artists, Nick joined Yngwie Malmsteen Rising force band as a keyboard player and toured in USA, Japan and Europe in 2005..
In 2009, after the tour in Israel and Russia, Nick presented his demo material to Maestro Yngwie Malmsteen. It caught his ear immediately. Strongly influenced by artists like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Queen and AC/DC, under Yngwie's masterful guidance, Nick's musical journey has culminated in turning his dream into reality with his release of his solo album Freedom Has No Price. Produced by Yngwie himself, and as the first artist to be released under Rising Force other than Yngwie, Freedom Has No Price combines Nick's classical training with the rock music that inspired him on twelve inspirational original tracks.
Nick also recorded keyboard tracks on Yngwie's &Relentless& album.
In early 2010, Nick formed the NZM Band as a lead singer and keyboard player.
In spring 2013 Nick becomes a lead singer & keyboardist of Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force.
In 2013, Nick sang lead vocals and played keyboards in Yngwie Malmsteen's USA/World &Spelllbound& tour.
In 2014, NZM is scheduled to release a new album Eternal Fire.
Ghee-yeh - lead guitar
Ghee-yeh was born in Santiago, Chile, on July 22 ,1977. At an early age, he showed interest in music. Not long after that, he began composing his own music. His love for rock was influenced by bands such as Europe, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and many others from the 80's. His interest for metal music was introduced by bands such as Metallica & Pantera. His true inspiration came from Yngwie Malmsteen, which drove him to write his own songs. By 1999, Ghee recorded his first demo with Paulo Domic, who was the singer/bass player. Later on, Ghee-yeh became part of a Chilean metal band &Witchblade&. In 2001, Ghee toured with that band and opened for a famous Brazilian band &ANGRA&. In 2002, he formed his own band &Human Factor& with several members of Witchblade. In 2004 ,Human Factor released the album &Unleashed& and they toured all over Chile and opened for bands such as &Mago de Oz&, &Seven Angels&, &Criminal& and &After Forever&. This album was launched worldwide by the Belgium label &Mausoleum Records& and in Japan by &Soundholic Records&. In 2006, Human Factor released the album &Behind the Dark&, which also toured and opened for bands such as &Helloween, &Gamma Ray& and &Angra&. In September 2008, the band split up and Ghee-yeh felt it was the perfect moment to begin his solo career. In October of 2008, he began writing new songs and got in touch with Nicolas Quinteros, keyboard player of &Delta&, who was a co-producer. Together they started to work with the new material of Ghee-yeh. All songs were written by Ghee-yeh and the album was musically complete in 2009. Paulo Domic had written all the lyrics in the album titled &Turn the Page& and it was released on 2010.
Later in 2010, Ghee-yeh recorded his first live DVD/CD entitled &Live at Cariola Theater& that was launched on 2011.
After the release of the live DVD/CD at the end of 2011, Ghee-yeh released his second solo album entitled &Metal Blast& and a promotional video from Metal Blast named &Waiting for Tomorrow&.
In March, the second live DVD was recorded and launched later that year entitled &GHEE-YEH LIVE AT SCD 2012&.
By October of 2012, Ghee-yeh decided to move to the United States. At the begining of 2013, he met singer/keyboard virtuoso Nick Z Marino who invited Ghee-yeh to be part of his NZM Band. During the next couple of months ,they started working together and compose music for Marino's new album that will be released in 2014.
Mark Ellis - drums
Mark Ellis started playing drums at the age 11 in South Florida where he grew up. By the age of 14, he started writing and recording music on guitar and piano but kept the drums as his primary instrument.
After high school, he formed a band with local musicians “Seasons Lost”. They played the local circuit for years growing in popularity until releasing their debut album in 2009, “After the Storm” which was produced by Phil Plaskon at Liquid Ghost Studios. The album was featured worldwide in countless magazines and web articles.
After the band broke up, he continued to write and record while playing live with “The Sea Monsters”, a local surf punk rock metal band, and “Time With Tom”, a world class Tom Petty tribute band.
After high school, he formed a band with local musicians “Seasons Lost”. They played the local circuit for years growing in popularity until releasing their debut album in 2009, “After the Storm” which was produced by Phil Plaskon at Liquid Ghost Studios. The album was featured worldwide in countless magazines and web articles.
In November of 2013, after joining the NZM Band, Ellis went on a South American tour playing drums for guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen for 10 shows in 7 countries.
