Formed in the spring of 2009, Zombie Western’s humble beginnings consisted of three friends jamming in a living room. As their sound progressed, so did their ambitions. The band composed a handful of songs and played their first show in the fall of 2009 in Waco, Texas. After playing several shows in the Waco area, they put live performances temporarily on hold and headed into the studio to concentrate on recreating their live sound. The end result, “The End…and the Aftermath”, is set to be released June 15th, 2010. Drawing inspiration from like-minded artists such as Red Sparowes, ISIS and Russian Circles, Zombie Western uses their intricate songwriting to lead the listener on a dynamic auditory journey. No vocals are necessary as the listener is free to create their own visual imagery of a story elicited by somber lows and layered, precise peaks. Now, with the addition of a second guitarist, the four piece Zombie Western looks to spread their influence throughout the state of Texas this summer with the unveiling of their new album
