After just a few moments of listening to Katie Heath's music, you will realize that Katie sees music as so much more than notes on a page. In Katie's eyes, music is a beautiful vessel that should be used to spread the good news of God's love, mercy and greatness. Katie has lived and breathed music since her earliest memories. As a teenager, Katie began working with music industry professionals in both the Nashville and Philadelphia areas. It was then that Katie knew what God created her to do.
After spending her college years developing her artistry at Belmont University, Katie is ready to take the big leap and launch her career as a Christian recording artist. Forging her place in the music industry won't be easy, but Katie is confident that God will be with her every step of the way. Each time Katie hears that her songs have touched someone's life, even in a small way, she is reminded of God's purpose and plan for her life.
"My heart is filled to overflowing when I see my songs make a difference," Katie says. "Making an impact for God fulfills me in a way that I can't even describe."
Katie thanks God each day for gifting her musically. She knows that without Him, none of this would be possible. Katie feels abundantly blessed to have such a BIG God working in her and through her - and she wants her listeners to know that God wants to use them for His glory too.
"I think the most powerful line in my song Made for More is 'For impossible is nothing to You,'" Katie shares. "Whenever I sing that song, I'm inspired to go out and take on the world for God. With Him, the sky's the limit. I hope others who hear my song feel that way too, because God has an amazing plan for each one of us."
