The band formed in the year of 1999 in town Pushkino, Moscow region. However the real birthday of the band is November 2003 when Victoriya Belikova, Alexander Savin, Vasily Reutov, and Ivan Vinechenko played in front of the crowd of 1500 people at “Follow the Leader 2” festival.
Since then the band engaged in active live performances sharing the bill with Amatory, Hostile Breed, Jane Air, Spatorna, Tractor Bowling, Zubi, Psiheya, Ruger, ####, 7th Race, and 7000$.
Year later in November of 2004 Save released their debut album “Why Live?” recorded and mixed at Faust Records studio, printed by Sound Age Prod Company. Album included 11 tracks and 8 page booklet with lyrics.
In the period from late 2004 to early 2006 the band went on hiatus for a few reasons: new material didn’t fit into the format of a new album, significant lineup changes. The band welcomed a new guitar player Stas Lomakin, new bass player Aleksej bokov, and instead of Ivan Vinechenko, new drummer Konstantin Salnikov. Also to fit the new sound the band added a percussionist Artem Fomin.
In May of 2006 the band comes out from silence reformed with solo show and a new sound. Soon afterwards Save starts to record a new album “Magapolis” that was released in 2007 by Mazzar/ Mystic Empire Company. Besides 10 tracks album included info about the band and photo and video that has been shot during the studio sessions at Faust Records. To support the album the band released their first video “The Animals Stood...” which was included in rotation of A-one channel. In the summer of 2007 the band played at Emmaus festival.
The 2008 saw the release of an EP “Hand in Hand with the Dream” which included 3 tracks, two bonus tracks and a video. After the release of the EP the band toured extensively visiting Nizhnij Novgorod and Vladimir, also taking part in “Ermergenza” festival in Mosocow and “Iron Divas” in Kaluga city, also playing with bands Tent, Ex-Terra, Kittie, and supporting Trivium in Moscow.
For the new album the band chose Finland’s studio Astia Studio Sound which known for its work with bands like Children of Bodom, Norther, and To/Die/For. Save also changed its sound again and to accomplish so the band brought in a new vocalist Maya Kuchumova. Prior to release of the bands third full length album in November of 2009 the band presents on line promo for a song “Behin the Mirror”, following the gig for the support of the release of a new album “Piggybank of Sins” on December the 4th in “Plan B” which served as the final tour date of the gig season for the band.
In the year of 2012 the band has changed lineup again the band found a new talented drummer Konstantin Kalkatinov (ex- hockey goalie) whose drumming skills from early age inspired many drummers in Russia and close abroad. In July of the same year the band presented 4th full length album “Estu Preta” including 13 new tracks. For the support of the album the band toured 11 Russian cities until the fall of 2012. In December 2012 the presentation of internet release of a new provocative video “Poison Kiss” from the latest album….
