Anna Montgomery is a singer/songwriter hailing from small town Indiana. Since moving to Los Angeles in 1998, her credits include a critically acclaimed debut album “Lyin In the Face of Love”, a 2003 Los Angeles Music Award, a national tour as band member and opening act for Grammy winner, Shelby Lynne, film and television credits including appearances on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, David Letterman, and the Ellen Show. She also has film and television credits that include the Jennifer Lopez feature, Enough, Richard Gere’s, The Flock, ABC’s Swingtown. and the theme song for Bravo’s The Fashion Show. She has released 5 independent albums, the latest of which is The Lean, which features her voice and piano playing.
Anna’s vocal versatility has made her a favorite of artists from all genres. Discovered in Chicago by Miles Davis’ career guitarist, Pete Cosey, she was later proclaimed by June Pointer of the Pointer Sister’s as one of her favorite soul voices amongst hundreds of auditioners and was poised to tour with Pointer’s solo project before June’s untimely death. She has worked as back-up singer and duetist on Beach Boy, David Marks’, solo album and shared an 8 piece rhythm & blues band with doo-wop legend, Buzz Clifford. Her writing career has careened her into the public eye in Europe as a number one dance music singer and writer. She has had five #1 dance/pop singles and garnered ESKA Radio and Polish MTV award nominations for her top selling single, Superbomb.
