Darkleaf is a 5 member crew based in Los Angeles formely half of the Unity Committee which also spawned Jurassic 5. Inspired by Sun Ra, Chick Corea and Jimi Hendrix, the sound of Dark Leaf is intense and chaotic hip hop. Collage rap, disjointed beats and spoken word. Guests include P.E.A.C.E. from Freestyle Fellowship and St. Mark from Brothers Manifesto.
