來自曼徹斯特的Doug Walker連自己也沒有想到，debut是和Danton Supple( X&Y[Coldplay],Silence Is Easy[Starsailor])制作完成的。
剛出道的Doug Walker在今年六月推出了自己的第一張專輯，有著強大的制作人，這張專輯自然取得了很不錯的成績。雖然是首張，但其中由鋼琴作為基調的大部分作品都有著明亮，清晰的旋律，這些具有相似風格的彈奏很容易讓人回憶起Coldplay，Keane，Starsailor來。典型的流搖曲風并不膩俗，我們又可以在動人的鋼琴音中暢游，冷鋒過境，晦澀的天氣幸好有Doug Walker用溫柔嗓音敘述著我們有些熟悉的故事。
Doug Walker (born Chertsey, England) is a Manchester based singer-songwriter. After years of getting nowhere with his musical career, his planned self-released debut single The Mystery was played by BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles after Walker turned up outside the Radio 1 studio on August 28th 2007
At the end of 2007 Walker was featured in Q magazine, The Guardian, The Sun, The Mirror, The Daily Star and The Red Pages - each publication tipping him for success in 2008.
