Frank Smith

Frank Smith is an award winning guitarist and BMI recording artist with over 30 years in the music industry. He has released 4 CD's and his CD titled “Gardens of Hope”, won the NAR Lifestyle Music Award for “Best Acoustic Instrumental Album for 2007”. His newest CD “Hope Returns” is also getting lots of radio play. Frank's music was recently featured on the new sampler album produced by Will Ackerman called “The Gathering” winner of the 2012 ZAR Awards for “Best Album of the Year” and “Best Contemporary Instrumental Album of the Year”. Most recently his music is featured in the new sampler called “The Guitar” featuring Franks music along with Will Ackerman, Alex De Grassi and many other great guitarist.
Frank makes his home in Naples, Florida. His CD's are sold worldwide and his original compositions are presently featured on Sirius satellite radio’s “Spa Channel”, on TV digital music station, “Soundscapes”, and on many airlines. Frank’s was voted "Top Artist" by “Soundscapes” March 2007.

It was the love of acoustic guitar along with the music of Will Ackerman that inspired Frank to begin a music career and later create his four CDs. When he began exploring alternate tunings on the guitar along with using altered capos, he found the sound he had always been looking for. With the added expertise of producer, Will Ackerman, engineer Corin Nelsen and many other talented musical artists, his professional recording career became a reality.
Frank has received accolades in numerous publications for his performances as a performing Music Therapist in hospital settings playing for outpatient infusion services where people come in for chemotherapy or infusion of antibiotics. He also has played for patients in the rehab gyms, emergency waiting rooms and surgical waiting rooms. He enjoys giving professional performances throughout the United States.
